Six questions every traveler should ask

By now, you all know that I’m a huge fan of Budget Travel magazine. I love this recent article by Deanna Cioppa. Deanna shares six simple questions that everyone should be asking on vacation.

Here are a few of my favorite tips from Deanna:

1.  “Is there an upgrade available?” – Although it may not lead to a first-class airline seat or a pent-house suite, it could lead to complimentary parking, breakfast, or Wi-Fi.

2. “Has the price changed for my seat?” – If the price of your airline ticket drops after you’ve purchased it, certain airlines will offer a travel voucher for the difference.

3. “Are you running any local deals?” – The concierge at your hotel will be aware of any Groupon or LivingSocial deals that can be used for attractions and restaurants.

Read all six of Deanna’s tips here.
