Getting a bite to eat or having a drink is often a great time-wasting activity, but it can be expensive at an airport. To save money, take advantage of loyalty programs, or rewards, offered by many big-name chains. Save your rewards until you’re traveling and avoid paying $5 for a cup of coffee!
What’s the advantage of a loyalty program?
Many chain franchises will reward their customers for loyalty. For example, your favorite coffee house may offer a “buy nine cups, get the tenth free” deal. Big-name restaurants often send out “buy one entree’ get one free” coupons to diners.
How do I sign up for loyalty programs?
Next time you visit a national chain, ask if they offer a rewards program. Some chains will simply give you a punch card that can be validated with every purchase. Other establishments will ask you to sign up online and you’ll receive deals via email.
