European backpacking on the cheap: $14 airline tickets

Many people share a dream of backpacking through Europe. While this vision is truly romantic and steeped in history, it can be very time consuming. One way to save time would be forgoing the traditional backpacking methods of transportation (foot, rail, car) and opting for air travel. Some of Europe’s budget airlines offer a cheap way to fly from city to city (as low as $14 one-way).
